The local SPCA’s social media post proclaimed they had “buckets of kittens” and needed foster families quickly. Farm Girl asked if she could foster a couple of cute kittens until school started. The request seemed harmless enough, so we headed to their office with promises to Farm Dad that we would not bring a ‘bucket of kittens’ home. We kept our promise….mostly. There was no kennel involved, however the kitten carrier did contain 4 tiny kittens when we returned. They were only 5 weeks old and were the kittens most needing a foster home. The SPCA did not want to separate the litter and the kittens sweet little faces pushed me over the edge. Farm Dad enjoyed “kitten sitting” in his office each day. Farm Girl proclaimed that 4 kittens were a lot more work….but we were all a little sad to return our bucket of kittens to the SPCA when our fostering was complete.
